Liquidation Service
Asset Liquidations or Liquidation Sales are commonly used when a client has an unlimited (open window) timeframe in which to sell their assets.

Our asset liquidation services are conducted in a brokerage style format where our professionals use strategic negotiating skills to solicit the highest return on our seller’s behalf.  Typically, business liquidation sales are held over a longer duration of time in order to try and find an end-user buyer.  Asset liquidations can range in size and by industry and are, often customized; more difficult equipment to sell is sold in a liquidation sale. Inventories of product are commonly sold in this style and are referred to as Closeout Liquidations.

Sealed Bid Sale
Bid packages that describe the assets and conditions of the sale are prepared and shipped to perspective buyers.  Bidders simultaneously submit silent offers for the entire lot of assets. The seller has the right to accept or reject any offers.  Typically, the highest bidder pays the price they submitted for the offering.

Going Concern & Sales in Aggregate
At SVD we recognize that there are many instances when the highest return for our clients is to sell the business and/or facility in aggregate or, as a "going concern".  SVD is using current technologies to showcase facilities and its assets to perspective buyers.  SVD has long standing relationships with professional organizations that specialize in Private and Public sale as well as Bankruptcy Code Section 363 sales. 

Storefront
Our Storefront sales channel is designed for Sellers that have a pre-determined price or have more time in which to sell.  Many of our clients have a set price they must try and achieve for a variety of different reasons.  Sellers are welcome to utilize all of our platforms; you can post in the storefront and move to an Online Auction if the price is not obtained over a duration of time. In many instances, there are certain Buyers that do not have the luxury to wait for an auction and need to liquidate an asset immediately.  The Storefront has benefits to both Sellers and Buyers.

Marketplaces
Our Online Auction marketplaces are specific to assets and industries; they are customized.

Spec Writing

Gathering and properly listing all relevant specifications of an asset requires in-depth knowledge and years of experience.  At SVD we set strict guidelines and help our sellers properly describe their assets.  Our buyers do not have to speculate or make assumptions on what they are bidding on, ultimately allowing them to bid with more confidence and therefore pay more for your assets.

Drive Wiping
SVD keeps complete audit trails from your facility to ours and/or to the buyers.  Our standards even meet strict Department of Defense standards so there is one less thing to worry about; we ensure it is done properly. We comply with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Gramm-Leach-Bliley by taking advantage of our rigorous data security and compliance procedures.  

Rigging, Shipping & Storage
You own the asset, now what? SVD has established relationships with fully-licensed and insured shippers and riggers around the world.  You will always have more than one vendor to request a quote from.  We put our reputation on the line when making referrals.   SVD has the ability to warehouse assets around the United States in one of our facilities or in one of our many affiliates’ facilities.  Storing assets can be in our client’s best interest if it means potentially receiving higher returns.
